LEGAL / PRIVACY
Privacy policy
What VST Radar stores, why it is needed, and which services process it.
Data stored on your device
- Language, currency, color, and Favorites preferences.
- A random identifier used to remember products before you sign in.
- Protected references to demonstration orders, if you use the legacy demo checkout.
Accounts and price alerts
If you create an account, VST Radar stores your email address, a salted password hash, sign-in sessions, Favorites, alert rules, and delivery history. Passwords are never stored or emailed in readable form. Daily store observations are stored by product and retailer to build shared price history.
Email, Google sign-in, and security checks
Resend processes verification and price-alert emails when email delivery is enabled. Google processes Google sign-in when you choose it. Cloudflare hosts the site, stores the account database, and may process network information for Turnstile and abuse prevention. Each provider applies its own privacy policy.
Security and recovery
VST Radar limits authentication requests, stores session tokens as one-way hashes, and uses encrypted connections. Cloudflare D1 provides point-in-time recovery. Access to production secrets and administrative tools is restricted.
Support requests
If you contact support, the submitted name, email, topic, product, reference number, and message are stored so the request can be answered.
Retailer links
When you follow a retailer or affiliate link, that retailer applies its own privacy and cookie policy. VST Radar does not receive the payment details you enter on the retailer’s website.
Access or deletion
Use the support form to request access, correction, or deletion of account and support data. Local preferences can be removed by clearing this site’s browser data. Deleted records may remain in short-lived disaster-recovery history until that recovery window expires.
